I am a very cautious browser and make sure no to download anything suspicious. But today I noticed my computer was acting kind of funky and slow. So I restarted it as that can fix the problem sometimes.

Well once it rebooted I opened up Chrome and I noticed AdBlock Plus was gone. So I headed on over to my extensions and there was something strange.

Utorrent_control v2. It had permissions to see all my searches, modify my history, cookies, downloads, it had access to all website data and everything I typed. I have removed the extension but I don't believe it's gone.

I'm running a scan at the moment. But my laptop is still acting strange.

Also I have not downloaded Utorrent.

Please help.

Im running ZoneAlarm's scan (The paid version) and Malware Bytes now. Malware bytes has detected 13 files and ZoneAlarm 0. It is Utorrent that is being detected though.

What is Hijack This's actual website?

Ok it was removed. But now my computer faces new problems. It must have been attached to my windows config files. Now that it is gone they are too -_-. Im getting errors and very slow loading times on start up.
