Palit GTX 770 upgrade

Hi there im thinking of upgrading my Asus GTX 760 to a Palit GTX 770 coz its super cheaper. Is it worth it tho?

10% improvement, if it is a free upgrade then yes, otherwise not.

because paying money for just 10% is stupid. if it is a (nearly) free upgrade, i.e. you can buy the 770 cheap and sell your 760 for nearly the same price then it is worth it, otherwise not. conventional wisdom has it that anything less than a 25% increase is not worth it, because you won't notice much less than that.

on the last page of tom's GPU reviews they suggest 3 bands being the minimum upgrade that is worth it.

Can we know your specs ? Might help us to select you a better GPU or maybe you can SLI ?

No I can't SLI my B85M-G isnt cut out for it. Asus GTX 760 2GB, Kingston HyperX blu 8GB ram, i5 4430 all running in a 500w cougar psu. So will that GTX 770 be good or not at all?

Well if you have enough money right now , buy this 770 :

You get watch dogs for free with it
If you don't have enough money now , I'd recommend waiting till you get 300-380$ and get a decent gpu and psu

You will see that in most games the 770 gives 5-20 more FPS in most games .

not enough in it to my mind, a 780 would be a worthy upgrade, but is overkill, wait for the 870 whenever that might be.

Palit would be fine, if it is a stock cooler, then they are all made by nvidia anyway.
