ok i want to buy either drobo, qnap, or synology because i need a place to back up my data but mostly a place to stream all my movies thought out my house.
i want it to strong enough to stream on at least 3 or more tvs, i have hundreds of dvds i want to put on it so it needs to have enough space to hold all my data
if all possible i can stream my movies outside my network when i am at my friends house. its ok if i dont get this.
i just need enough power to supply to 3 or more media devices at once
I have 500 to 2000 range
I am a tech guy got 2 associate degrees in computers just wondering what is best, and what others have done
on the same note I cant decide if I want plex server with a lot of thin clients or xbmc and share the library
also if I bought a sinology with 4 ethernet LAN Ports how would I use all of them to to improve the media sharing model "synology DS1813+" for example
