Hi,
I have ASUS N46VZ
Processor : iCore i7-3630QM , 2,4 GHz
RAM : 8 GB
HDD : 750 GB
Former OS: Windows 8

I upgrade my Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 few weeks ago. First, there no problem. After few days the booting up takes longer time than when it's still in Win 8 ( Win 8 - less than 2s ; Win 8.1 - more than 5s or sometimes > 10min). Now, sometimes it won't resume from sleep (blank window), unable to load another user (blank screen), and shutting down/logging off took to much time.

I don't have the Windows 8 partition nor the CD (since I the OS already available from start). Is there any way to improve/ fix this? If possible I want to downgrade to my old Windows 8.

Thank you.

Solution
I think you can try out windows aautomatic repair.Follow the steps:
1.)Swipe from the right to open the charms bar.
2.)Tap or click on Settings.
3.)Tap or click on Change PC settings at the bottom of the charms bar.
4.)Choose Update and recovery from the list of options on the left of the PC settings window.
Note: Prior to Windows 8.1, choose General instead .
5.)Choose Recovery.
6.)Locate Advanced startup, at the bottom of the list of options on your right.
7.)Tap or click on Restart now.
8.)Wait through the Please wait message until Advanced Startup Options opens.

You can try this and there will be an option for automatic repair..
Hopefully it will solve all your isuues.
Try and report.....Cheers....

Solution
Could use Windows Diagnostics in case you have corrupt files after the Upgrade.
First try System File Checker
Winkey plus 'X'
Choose Command Prompt (Admin)
Type sfc /scannow then Enter

It finds and fixes errors in Windows, but doesn't always report them. Run it and see if the fault disappears after re-booting your system
If corrupt files are found that can’t be fixed, try

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth (Observe spaces before /)

Re-run SFC

To view CBS Log

findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log >sfcdetails.txt

Search C drive for sfcdetails.txt or navigate to C:\Windows\System32 and scroll down.

Thanks,
But, will this affect my files? Especially for programs since I don't have the installer for build-in programs.

No.....Windows will just automatically fix errors found in your system thats all......You will then reboot...
Your programs WON'T be affected .
Try this and hope your pc will get fixed...

It's still doesn't work, I still get some problem with internet connected program, very slow (over 30min)shut down, restart, sleep, and sign out. If I refresh my laptop, should I re-install some of the driver and things (Especially the one connected to ASUS, Intel, my Graphic card (nVidia),etc)?

This from my last scan (after an windows update),
"Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currently no supported in offline servicing scenarios."

From the scan before the windows update, there no problem found.

And the Dism results?
