Hello im trying to build a budget gaming pc for my kids, but I need help. They want to play skyrim with mods and the newer games like bf4 So far I have this.

amd athlon x4 750k
2x4 gb 1600 ram
r7 265 gpu
Corsair cx 430w psu
Msi a78m e35 fm2
Asus dvd-r
fractal core 1000 case
Wd blue 1tb hd

1. Are these parts compatible
2. Is the psu strong enough
3. Can I change the parts to get the price to $500 or under And still be able to play most games on high at 1080 with playable framerates

It has an IGPU and is able to play most new games , but not at high res .
OR
if you manage to get 50 more bucks this will play all of your games ( Skyrim with mods , BF4 , Cod Ghosts , NFS Rivals , ... ) on high to ultra at a playable frame rate ( most games at 60+ FPS )

When on a budget is the fm2 athlon not that bad but i would go for the 760K which has a newer core.

still got the r9 270 in.
Got 2x4gb ram in as well.
The cx 430watt should be able to give enough power for this since, i imagine, you're not going to overclock.

The 7870 is slightly better than the r9 270 :)

It also needs two power connectors which the cx 430 doesn't have, you would have to use a molex to pcie adapter and i personally am not really for that.

The difference is also negligible.

Depends on price too.if there´s no real difference would i go for the asrock with a slightly better audiochip afaiak and the capability for a ram upgrade should that somehow be necessary. With the asrock is there even a crossfire option should you want to look into that.A psu upgrade would be also necessary then.

I don't know about titanfall, but crysis 3 should be playable at lower settings like medium. From what i can find should titanfal do better than crysis 3.

For both would i recommend to at least go for the athlon 760K for that little bit more.

I would go for the asrock board.
