Intel Core i7-4770K
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
MSI Z87-G45 Gaming ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Sapphire Radeon R9 290 4GB Tri-X Video Card
Cooler Master HAF 912 Advanced ATX Mid Tower Case
Corsair CX 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer
Windows 8.1 64 Bit.

I know that i would have to remove the drive bays from the HAF 912 Advanced case so that i can stick my GPU into the case.
For the PSU i'm not too sure if the CX 750W is an overkill for this build but i read on the forums that I should not skimp on the PSU when building a new computer.
I was thinking if this build might also be kinda "futureproof" because I might also buy a newer Graphics Card maybe 2-3 years later so that i can still play future games at reasonable framerates.
Please tell me if there is any other components that are better but in the similar price range because I cannot afford anything much more expensive because of my tight budget.
Thank you for your reply :D

The brands recommend are well known and provides good power supply. 650W is enough for a single gpu setup, even with a r9 290. CX series are known to have cheap caps and only 3 years warranty. It may work but they have a higher rate of failures.
There are lists of good power supply to choose from but they can be outdated.:

Lots of cheap crap PSUs can't do what's printed on the label. Massively overspeccing the power supplies is a way to slow the "it won't run" complaints.

Yup, those are very good PSUs.

You can also look through the second link in my sig.

I'd probably go for the 550W version of the XFX he linked.

Oh man thanks. :D
I live in Singapore where PC parts are kinda overpriced and lacking in variation :(
The other guy recommended the Seasonic M12II, so i went and a quick look on the price list of my local retailer.
While browsing through the price list of my local retailer, i also saw this Seasonic S12G that is just like ~3 dollars more than the M12II in my country.
Which one should i get and what's the difference between the two?

M12II is modular and 80PLUS Bronze. S12G is non-modular but Gold, so a little more efficient.
