I am trying to install a program from a CD to my secondary hard drive. Usually i can select where to install the program. However this one automatically stores it in C:\Program Files (x86) . During the installation there is no prompt to change file destination. Methods i have tried include regedit \ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft\ Windows \ Current version \ Programfilesdir and Programfilesdir (x86) - where i change the file path.

System specs - Windows 7 Professional / 1st Hard drive 128 gb ssd / 2nd hard drive 1tb sshd

Not sure. Generally the Registry redirects are for ALL applications, not just one.
How large is the application install? Maybe just have that on the SSD. Most applications aren't that large.

When you run the setup.exe, there is no button for 'Advanced' or 'Custom' during the install?

Nope, no option for advance settings are available. It came with 6 discs. The first disc installs the application. Since it does not prompt for advanced or custom setup i was hoping there was some type of registry trick i could try.
