RAM Manufacturer Help?

I need more RAM. (I have 4GB and want another for 8GB) I think I have the right one, I just want to know the manufacture code to be sure. Is there anyway to find this without opening up the actual computer?

Open the SPD tab if it doesn't show anything in the way of specs, up in the left corner it will show slot 1 change that till you find your info, the model # should appear in the Part Number window

Download and Install CPU-Z from the link given below. After installing, go to the ram section and select the slot in which u've installed in. If ur not sure in which slot, then do the trial and error method.

I have CPU-Z but I don't know what you mean by slot
