NFS Rivals Problem

Hi , I have the game in ORIGIN, and I was on the chapter where I had to reach heat level 5 . So , I was going to a pursuit race and I was inside a tunnel and as soon as I crossed the tunnel , there was no road , and the car was on mid air and everything was messed up. I had to sign out from windows to exit the game. The game was not exiting properly.
So, what is this thing and what is the cause of this ?

I am on Win 8.1 Pro x64. My Specs are Core i7 4th gen , 16 Gb DDR 3 RAM , GTX 760.

Kindly help

this is a windows 8.1 problem.it has something to do with the virtual memory and page file.i had this glitch on NFS rivals and so many other games .i reinstalled windows 7 and everything is fine now

I bought Windows 8 pro just a month ago and updated to 8.1 now how can I got back to windows 7 ? I dont have windows 7 ?
And newer games recommends windows 8 . thats why I bought win 8.

unfortunatley you can't get back to windows 7 from windows 8 .they are two different products
some games recommend windows 8 out of marketing purposes as adcvertising for windows 8 so people buy it.the truth is windows 8/8.1 is horrible with games.specially on laptops. you can google the numerous problems windows 8/8.1 causes with games like shadow warrior , crysis 2 , crysis 3 , NFS rivals and so many others.
once i returned to windows 7 everything was ok. i just bought my laptop two weeks ago ,it's a MSI gt70 dominator with 4800mq/870m 3gb CPU/GPU.
i removed the stock windows 8.1 and installed windows 7 and everything goes well now.
