Hello people,
I have a question, and I really can't figure out what to do.. I asked a lot of people I know but they all don't seem to know what to do either. To make it easy, I made a short video about it which you can find here:

That video made me cringe. You had the power connected to the power supply. You had the power supply on. First, you then just yanked the power cable from the video card, and yanked the card out of its slot. Then you jammed the other card into the system, and were not even close to being precise about it. You did all of this with with that power connected to the PSU and it was switched on (assuming your PSU itself has an ON/OFF switch.

These are horrible practices. I hope you realize that. Anytime you get into that computer, and touch anything, you need to have the power disconnected from the power supply. Once you do that, you should hit the power button on the computer a few times to ensure all power is drained from the system. Then...

What is the PCI-e version of your slot? I know it's x16, but is it PCI-e 1/1.1? If so, the power requirements for that card (which is PCI-e 2.1) are too much for the slot to handle. If there is a BIOS update for your board, that might fix it, as some manufacturers created a BIOS compatibility patch, as it were.

These are horrible practices. I hope you realize that. Anytime you get into that computer, and touch anything, you need to have the power disconnected from the power supply. Once you do that, you should hit the power button on the computer a few times to ensure all power is drained from the system. Then you should ground yourself, with either a grounding strap, or at the least, touch a metal portion of your PC case first, before touching anything else. Those practices are a minimum and to be ingrained into your memory.

You need to list all of your system specs. Still, the beeping you are hearing are pretty standard across motherboards, and are there to tell you there's a problem, and there's a different series of beeps for different problems.

If at any time the metal bracket on either video card had touched a tiny component on the edge of the motherboard while you connecting / disconnecting them from the motherboard, you'd have a dead motherboard as well as the possibly dead graphics card.

Anyway, Knight probably nailed it, so if that is the case, then you can at least test the newer card in a different computer, like a friend's, to at least verify there is no fault with the graphics card.

My PC specs:
Mobo: *I have no idea..*
Processor: Inten Core i5 3350P @3.1 GHz (Turbo > 3.4)
RAM: 8 GB
OS: Windows 8.1 64Bit (Up to date)

If you need to know my mobo info, then please tell me how I find the mobo name :)

FIXED IT =D

Yes! I fixed it myself afther a friend of me found something about the OS in the boot menu.

Here is what I did: 1. I changed the OS of the mobo to Windows 7.
2. I changed (under CSM) "Boot Option Filter" to UEFI ONLY.

It works now :) Share this with every Medion user that can't get his pc working with a new GPU! :)
(You still need enough Watt .. )
