ECC memory is mainly for servers and workstations. So if you have a conventional Desktop of home use, it will use non-ecc, as you already found out. So you simply need to find 240 pin DDR2 PC2-5300/5400 memory. Probably other speeds would work too. But that is up to the MB's specs. Can you tell me the model of your Lenovo desktop?
Here is a RAM example: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA2V51FX1840

Is this your PC? http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/landing.page?
If so, you may want to contact Lenovo for further info on the RAM. I believe the ones I spec'd out for you will work, but if you want further confirmation, there is a chat line available on that page you can use.

If you don't want to go that route, here is their memory list for the PC in the above link: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/product-and-parts/detail.page?DocID=PD010161
