I need help accessing the internet on my dell pc desk top. There is no more modem anymore and I thought Oh well what about an internet plug in? How would I install one? Or where would I get one?

There should be an RJ-45 jack, something similar to http://www.learning-about-computers.com/tutorials/images/rj45.jpg. An ethernet cable should be plugged into it from your router or modem. See video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7FxORx05Ns

If you don't have an RJ-45, you would need to get an NIC card, which has one on it. We'd need the model of your Dell PC.
