A little over a month or so ago I bought a new graphics card for my pc. A few weeks later I started noticing problems with my audio. The problem is unrelated to my speaker, as I've tried multiple different ones as well as headphones, and the problem persists. I don't know how to describe the sound other than skippy, so I've recorded an audio clip that demonstrates what I'm talking about. The audio file, as well as my dxdiag information, can be found here. You can really hear it from one minute inward; the sound you hear is me plugging my phone in and out. Any assistance with this problem would be greatly appreciated, as the sketchy audio is starting to drive me crazy. If there are any questions, or if I'm in the wrong place trying to find a solution for this, please let me know.

Thanks,
Metabollic

P.S. The video card I upgraded from was an integrated AMD Radeon HD 7660D, and the new one is a Geforce GTX 760.

Solution
try disabling the hdmi hd sound driver from the device manager................... they install with the graphics drivers if you don't choose custom or advanced install. ................ don't let window reinstall them on reboot.

That seemed to have been along the right lines. I have three different driver under audio: IDT High Definition Audio CODEC, NVIDIA HD Audio, and NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device. First I disabled and reenable the NVIDIA HD Audio, then I disabled the HD Codec and it restarted my system. I had no audio at all with the HD Coden disabled so i re-enabled it and the skipping is gone. I suppose they just needed reset or something. Anyway, it worked. Thanks for your help!
