Anyone willing to help me install a particular network adapter driver from the link below? I was told to try doing so in order to help some connection issues I have been having lately and due my lack of knowledge in this particular area have no idea how to go about installing this on my Windows 8.1 System. I have put the rig specs as well as a link to the thread where I was told to install this driver in order to possibly solve the problem that was described in said thread. Make sure to check it out for any background info. Any and all help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

OK, download and save the file if you haven't already. Double-click and it will open as a folder. Select all items, right click and extract. Remember where they were extracted to.

In the device manager, right-click on the network adapter, choose "Update driver software" and use the option "browse for driver software". In the box that comes up browse to where the above files were extracted and click OK.

I get the message "The best driver software for your device is already installed" and nothing further. Thanks for the help because you solved the issue with installing the driver, but my network issues still persist. If you wouldn't mind hopping on the other thread and seeing if there's anything else you can help with that would be great! If not, thanks for the time and the solution to one of my many problems!
