Honestly, i'd just recommend going to the local store, find whatever is on sale, and then try it out. If it doesn't work return it and try something else.
Or just buy multiple in one go and if it works returns the ones you don't need.

LOL bestbuy had the 16gb Cruzers on sale for $10 last week. I bought 2
I tend to buy cruzers, I've never had one fail on me and i like that the usb slot retracts and there's no cap to lose. I have a 4gb cruzers I use as my diagnostic boot drives. I would assume these are bootable as well though I have no need to try them
