Well as the title says i open up speed fan to see that nothing is up... but during the detection just after you open the program it comes up with this message "ProbeSCSI: WARNING: hard disk skipped because of invalid returned LogSense data"........ any reason to worry??? :(

Having another look at it, i noticed it also says it another place.

Here's the whole thing :

Win9x:NO 64Bit:YES GiveIO:NO SpeedFan:YES
I/O properly initialized
Linked ISA BUS at $0290

Solution
Go to the S.M.A.R.T. tab of speedfan and test your HDD (short test will do). Then click 'perform in-depth online analysis' and see what the page says about your HDD.

Both the SSD & the HDD came up with no error (thank god), yet i am curious as to why this warning has come up before and after a restart of the pc.

Thank you very much for the quick reply though :)

Did you perform the in-depth online analysis? Other people who have had this error have had a high reallocated sector count. Speedfan will give you the reading but not a warning about this (even though it might be indicating a HDD failure), this is why the online analysis is so important.

I Tried reinstalling it yet the same error. Should i try and contact local PC-shop and see if they would know if anything further is up with the SSD & HDD?.

You could do that, just make sure they're not making you pay too much.

I just installed the exact same type of drive (250GB Samsung 840 EVO SSD) and got the exact same Speedfan error, with the same resulting online test showing everything is okay. I realize this is an old post, but given I found this through googling to try and figure out what was up with the error (since I just installed the SSD yesterday), perhaps this additional info will help someone else down the road.
