I just recently built a new computer. The specs are:
• Intel core i5 4670k
• Noctua NH-U12s (cooler0
• Gigabyte GA-Z87-D3HP (motherboard)
• Kingston Hyper X Blue 2x4 gigabytes (RAM)
• Sapphire Radeon R9 280X 3GB Dual-X (Video Card)

I’ve taken it apart and rebuilt it a couple times to make sure everything is plugged in correctly. I took out one of my RAM sticks and my video card. before i took them out it kept saying no signal. If any one has a way to make it stop saying please reboot and select proper boot device please leave an answer. Also the first time i removed the video card and one of the RAM i got into the BIOS but when i restarted it gave me please reboot and select proper boot device. Thank you.

Firstly you must put the Windows disk in your disk drive and enter the BIOS settings on startup. Then make sure that DVD drive is the first in your boot order and then save and restart. It should then go to the Windows DVD instead of the hard drive and failing showing "Select Proper Boot Device".

I can't change anything because the only thing that shows up on my screen is please reboot and select proper boot device, i can't get into the BIOS.

Yes, your GPU and RAM should not have any thing to do with BIOS/HDD. Make sure the Optical Drive is set to 1st on the boot order in the BIOS and then put the CD in restart and install Windows.

OK, so I can get to the bios with my 2 sticks of RAM, but if I try to put in my GPU it wont start. I'm using the Sapphire Radeon R9 280X. PC part picker said my parts were compatible. If you have any idea why my GPU is messing up my boot.

Make sure that your GPU is properly seated. What type of error message or noise is your computer making?

Also, make sure your monitor is connected to the GPU not the onboard graphics on the computer.

Well, when i put in the graphics card nothing shows up on the monitor. It makes no noise. How would i connect the monitor to my GPU?
