Hello everyone, I've recently bought a headset Razer Kraken 7.1. It seems to be missing a key feature my last headset had that I have grown dependent on. When speaking my last headset naturally played back your voice so that you don't sound muffled through your headset, and can hear how loud your being. I know there is a feature on windows to "Listen to this device" that IS not what I am speaking about. My question is WHAT on earth is this feature called!? I can't seem to figure it out. I've heard it called Listen feedback, Hear talk, and Phantom circuit. However, none of these will help me in my search for a decent headset WITH such feature.

I believe what you are referring to is "mic monitor".

Most turtle beach headsets I know for sure have this feature. I'm sure other headsets do as well but I know for a fact that a lot of the turtle beaches come with this by default.

If you need a headset recommendation, give me a budget and I'll be glad to help you out.

That sounds exactly like what I mean, thank you so much. My budget is around $100 but may be willing to go up to $200. I am looking for a surround sound set for music/gaming(skype and other voice programs). Obviously good mic and sound quality for around my budget. If you can think of any devices in this range that would be great!

Thank you again!
