I just Build a computer and installed windows 7 on it, i tried opening a .txt file (by right clicking and using open with) to open it with word pad instead of notepad, it worked but now all of my desktop icon and apps under the start menu want to open with wordpad and are unusable. Every time i change it for one program, it changes the default program to open with to the same thing. The only way i can do anything is to find what i want to open under my program files and find its launcher. Quick note it only affects shortcuts that are not in any folder. Thanks any help
