A Radeon R9-290 needs at least 31 amps on the 12v rail and a 550 watt power supply.

This XFX 650 WATT IS MORE THAN ENOUGH POWER , with 53 amps on the 12 v rail.

Made by the best SEASONIC.

CX is Corsair's budget brand, not meant for high end machines. I would avoid that one since you have nice hardware, and a particularly power hungry GPU.

The Seasonic mentioned above is good, or the EVGA G2, and many others just ask around here first.

750W is overkill for your specs , 650 watts is more than enough.

750W EVGA Supernova G2 on the way $93 shipped plus $10 mail in rebate from amazon .applied for amazon card for $30 off
I like the that it has 10yr warranty and is gold rated. it myay be overkill but it leaves room for upgrades

Thanks For the help Jim
