PC is acting weird

Hello, I'm experiencing a problem that started just today about 7 hours ago and the PC is acting rather weird. Windows Explorer keeps saying its not working, Task manager isn't working and takes a long time for programs to load, unlike 8 hours ago it opened programs in matters of milliseconds. Games start to freeze mid game and take forever to go back to normal i have to hit the windows button and alt-tab for it to switch windows and that still even takes forever. Anything i can do?! Thanks.

I did over 3 hours of scans of both malware and viruses and defragged like crazy and it still has problems, i updated my network driver, still didn't help. I really am stumped i never had this problem could it be a harddrive failure starting to happen?

Turns out it was the Internet i was using, I went over someones house to download a bunch of games from steam since my Internet at home is nothing pretty much, and I went home hooked it up back to my crap Internet afraid because I might of needed a new HDD but everything is working like it should.
