I have built a new computer, but neither the one I have currently nor the one I just built has a optical drive. I used the usb/dvd drive tool provided by Microsoft to install a ISO that I torrented. (Don't worry, I have the software key). I attempted to copy it to the USB via the program, but it gave me an error. I searched this online, and found that I had to edit the ISO by a program, enabled UDF, which I did. I was then able to copy it to the USB stick, and continue as planned. When I try to install it, it unpacks the files, but then gives me an error saying that the files may be corrupted or missing. I've tried several times, but to no avail. Any help?

Note that if you have used the key on your previous build and its an OEM license you CANNOT use it on your new build. It is tied to the motherboard if the original machine and your license will be void if you attempt to use it on a new machine. You need to buy a new license

Assuming you have a valid, legal Windows activation key, torrenting an ISO of that is a monumentally dumb idea.

Go here and download the actual, valid Windows 7 ISO:
