Change the SATA mode from AHCI to IDE/Compatibility. If you cannot, you will have to find a floppy disk (and drive if you do not have one), download the AHCI drivers for your chipset, copy them to the floppy, hit F6 when prompted in setup, and point the install to the floppy drive.

It's on an older PC so the Hard Drive is IDE, I have no floppy.

Thanks

Has the hard drive ever had an OS on it?

When you get to the initial screen asking about install or repair, choose repair. Then run chkdsk /r

That is not an option as It's just a blue screen asking me to reset my PC.

So it doesn't even get to that point? Might be something faulty with the drive. Is there a way you can plug the drive into another system and run checkdisk there?

I got a new one and it worked! Thanks alot! Just a quick question, can I get RAID configured after windows is installed?

Thanks again.

You need to install it with RAID if you're RAIDing the OS drives (and that would require the F6 drivers). If you're going to have a separate set of drives for data, you can set those up via RAID after the install is done.

Oh then nevermind, RAID is not much of a big deal for a minecraft server.

Thanks
