You should be getting a 2x4GB memory kit, not 1X8GB. otherwise it won't run dual channel mode

I would go for something like this. I prefer Nvidia, but the 280X is nice too. Either way its just a few bucks. The EVO gives some great OCs for the price. On this type of budget for entire rig, put the $$$ where you need it most.
