How to keep case's LED off?

Every time I start my computer, I have to manually cycle through several LED colors on my case just to turn the LED off. So I was wondering, is there some way to make it so that the LED doesn't turn on during start up, without removing the LED?

I've used a flap of duct tape to cover an LED that I do not with to see.

The led will have a + and ground wire to the motherboard front panel header.
Just disconnect one.
