GTX 670 Good Graphics Card?

The GTX 670 is a great card still. I have two GTX 670's in SLI and there is not a game I can't play max/ultra. And no you do not need a GTX 780 to max out current games. There is no need to spend that much for a GTX 780 for a single 1080p monitor no need at all.

I run a single 660ti. The 670 is slightly better. I run ultra max in every game I have and that includes grass and water and shadows. (kinda almost like running furmark in some scenes). Although I do not play BF4 or crysis3 or bioshock. It'll handle Skyrim easily.

The only downside to that particular card is the reference design. It'll run hotter, much louder and is a real pita to clean. Go for a nex-gen card like a 760 or r9 280x. Both will be comparable to the 670and are cheaper, better cooled and much quieter.

First off, good luck finding a new gtx 670 in stock at an actual store/online site. You're gonna have to buy a used/refurbished one from somewhere.

Second off, the only reason to buy a 670 now is if you already have one and you're getting a second one for SLI(what I'm currently trying to do). The 770 is around the same price. So unless you want to take a risk at getting a used 670 for a a lot cheaper, (still hard to find under $250), then I'd just go for a 770.
