Air filters and liquid coolers is alright but what are the lesser known ways or hacks which you use to keep dust at bay?

How do you handle the tricky openings like USB/HDMI ports and the dozens of other openings in the back? Do you find covers for each of them or do you leave them open?

Absolutely not! Those openings are all places for heat to escape. You are putting dust prevention ahead of heat reduction. Dust does very little harm unless it retards cooling. Heat kills. Good air flow is critical. If you are worried that the inside may get dusty, open the...

As long as all intakes are filtered, always have positive air pressure. You may even want to remove any filters from unused exhaust openings to be sure any dust doesn't get trapped inside the PC. The theory being, filtered air is always forced out of the case... no air that isn't filtered can enter.

My case is Antec GX700. There are a lot of exhaust holes on the back apart from the fan. The back is literally open. I fear that it will be difficult to maintain pressure in the case with so many openings, regardless of the number of intake fans, hence the question : shall I take extra efforts to close the unnecessary vents? I was planning on using clay or something.

Good air flow is critical. If you are worried that the inside may get dusty, open the machine occasionally and blow the dust out.
