when i installed wd5000aakx on my pc ......its shows 0.0gb in gigabyte H61M-s1 menu afterthat i restart my pc then its shows ata is empty...what should be wrong with hdd

Solution

Reseat everything, should try a new cable also. Try the drive in another computer.
