The PowerColor just went on sale and I can get it for $249.99 with a $20 MIR, which is the same price as the EVGA GTX 760. I know EVGA is a much better brand but I was wondering if it is worth giving up the brand name for the upgrade in card, seeing as they are the same price. Please Help!

Current Build -
AMD Phenom II x4
8 gb ram
250 gb ssd

The R9 280X will always be the better card no matter of the supplier (powercolor). It is worth giving up a good brand in this case.

Something else to consider, will my CPU even be able to handle the better card?

How are you getting this for $250? The listing says $320 after $20 mail in rebate. Am I missing something because I would totally jump on this for $250!
