Hi,
What is the best gaming PC you could build with OS and monitor including?
It should not cost more then 1000 NZ Dollar and the websites should be in New Zealanad or can ship to NZ.
I am very new in building Computers, so I dont know if 1000 NZ Dollar is enough for a good gaming PC.(It would be good if it could play DayZ on medium to high settings)
Thx for any answer.

Congrats! Building your own system is definitely the way to go. I also live in NZ and am building a new machine. I've found ebay to be the best place to get parts. Pricespy.co.nz is also good. Stay away from Trademe.co.nz for PC parts. They're great for many things, but way too expensive for building a new computer.

I never tried nz.pcpartpicker.com, but it looks pretty sweet. I spent a heap of time researching different parts, looking up specs, comparing prices and compatibility. It looks like this website takes a lot of that hassle out of the process.

It might be hard to get a decent gaming PC with your budget using entirely new parts. You might need to get some parts second hand. Ebay will be your best choice there.

Good luck!

Depends on the vendor. When you're searching, click "Worldwide" in the location options. And always check the shipping info to confirm if an item will ship to NZ. There are great deals to be found, but shipping charges will become a significant part of your budget.

It might be worth comparing a build from nz.pcpartpicker.com/pricespy.co.nz with how much you will have to spend on ebay items plus shipping. It might end up being comparable. Either way, it's going to take some time and research.

Some parts, in my opinion, that you could get second hand:
- Case (you could even check local op shops, would be very cheap)
- Monitor (same thing, maybe. Quality would be dubious. Double check the connections for compatibility)
- Video card (given your budget. Just be careful, read descriptions and do your research)
- OS (some places might still sell Windows 7, or get a copy second hand)
