First, Thanks for the help.
Please help me choose a motherboard for these two systems
I listed 4 different graphics cards, im not even sure if I need a graphics card, I dont play games but I watch movies and do photo editing. Do I?
With this system, I am most worried about speed, want my motherboard to get the full potential from the SSD, mostly for video and picture editing.
Need 2 USB 3.0 in front of case.
SATA 6Gb/s (for SSD)
I am pretty set on the processor, SSD and Ram. (but would listen to suggestions)

Need help with motherboard and to know if I need Graphics card, if i do, which one.

Intel Xeon X5550 @ 2.67GHz

GeForce 405
Radeon HD 5450
GeForce 210
GeForce 8600GS

Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250GB
and a generic Western Digital 1TB Drive

Crucial Technology BLT4G3D1608DT2TXOB 4GB x2

And also with this processor, everything else the same
AMD FX-4200 Quad-Core

Thanks again

Budget would help but I am keen to get parts early

This is for the Intel Xeon X5550 CPU.

It is hard for LGA 1366 Boards to have USB 3.0 for a good price and finding them with SATA 6GB/s and USB 3.0 is even harder, as most have USB 2.0 and SATA 3GB/s ports.

Your AM3+ Socket CPU (FX 4200) is much easier, here is a motherboard for that;
GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3P

GPU, you'll need one as there is no integrated graphics, so a ATI Radeon HD 7770 would be adequate for a budget GPU.

I am not concerned with budget. but less expensive is better

Will be used for office work, movies, downloading, and some video and movie editing. Most specifically Lightroom, where I will be managing and editing 40,000+ photos

Was wondering what the real world difference would be on this system if I changed the FX 4200 to a FX6300 or FX 8320.
And is having the SSD going to effect my performance a lot?
Money wise, would it make more sense to through out the SSD and get the FX 8320?
