Intel vs AMD Computer Setup

I have a very strict budget when it comes to building a budget PC. The idea is to have a PC which is able to play battlefield 4 on medium graphics in 720p, with around 40 frames per second. I have seen a PC do this for 600 dollars, so I know it is possible with that amount of money for the budget, the only problem I encountered was that I was not able to record and play at 40 frames per second on those graphics. So I have decided to create two different builds designed to fit my needs.

However, I have encountered another problem. While half my friends recommend AMD, and the other Intel, I am not truly sure about what PC set up I need. I was wondering if a few people would be able to go through these set ups and suggest to me which would run better for what I plan on doing with the PC (Recording game play).

Please note, I also need to use programs such as adobe premiere and after affects on this PC as well for editing purposes.

These are the links:

AMD:

Intel:

Between those the intel setup would perform better, at least for playing the games.

For recording, I would say they'd both somewhat struggle.

You could try using this to select parts: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/

I am using PCcasegear mainly because my friend was using it when he was helping me with this setup. I wasn't planning on actually using it to buy. and i realise that this computer wont be AMAZING at recording, i just need it to do the job. there are some really good recording softwares which dont use much cpu in order to record your pc, so I planned on using that.

I am just not sure as to which set up I should buy. What would you consider would be better even if it is only fractual.
