Hello all,
recently i built a new htpc but at some situations it wont post or usb devices wont work properly.
My specs:
mobo asus h87i-plus
cpu i5 4670k
ram crucial 16GB 2x8gb kit ddr3 1600mhz CL9 ballistix sport
case fractal node 304 black
psu seasonic g550
external usb optical drive in icybox case
usb soundcard steinberg ur22 - it is without power supply
4x hdds - seagate and western digital...different sizes 2x2tb,1tb and 500gb
1x ssd samsung 840 evo 250gb
usb keyboard and usb mouse corded
bios is latest
no gpu, using integrated from the cpu...
i dont know if this is a psu or mainboard problem. when i power on the system, it stays at the asus splash screen and wont enter into bios if i press del or f2 on my usb keyboard.after i removed one of the hard drives (500gb) the system was able to boot or to go into bios. but now after the system booted up, the keyboard is not responsive. when i replug the keyboard in an other usb slot, the keyboard works (doesnt matter if usb2 or 3 slot), but when im pressing numlock or capslock key, the leds on the keyboard seem to be delayed - slow responsive. looks like the system doesnt have power? or what could be the issue? i do not have an ps2 keyboard to test with.please give me an advice what i should test. the keyboard is slow responsive even in bios with the numlock leds!
