Thermaltake NiC C5 in Corsair 350D

The max height for a CPU cooler in a Corsair 350D is 160mm. The Thermaltake NiC C5 CPU Cooler is 160mm.

If I purchase and use this, would that mean that the heat pipes are going to right up against the side panel, or does this maximum include space between the panel and heat pipes?

The fans on the Thermaltake are 120mm fans, and are pretty good.

The Thermaltake NiC C5 is 160mm tall. The 350d advertises 160mm of clearance, but really is around 162mm exactly, this allows for variations in manufacturing of both the 350d and the CPU coolers. You would be just fine with the NiC C5, though it will be very close lol

Thanks for the suggestion, but I wasn't really asking for a a particular fan model.

Let me rephrase: If a fan is 160mm, and the maximum height of a CPU cooler for a particular case is 160mm, would that then mean that the cooler would touch the panel or is there a small space allotted already?
