image not on the entire screen

i just built my pc and i have a ASUS VX238H but the image on the screen stops short of the actual edge of the screen. what can i do to fix this

I'm not sure how the refresh rate of the screen is going to fix the issue lol

mcle, what graphics card/CPU do you have? In the graphics properties there should be a setting to scale the screen. You can also try adjusting the V-Height and H-Height if the monitor has those options.
