Hello community I am new here but been reading up a lot on CPU's here. My question is this:
Between the 8320 piledriver or the i5 no OC for gaming (second life, WoW mostly) Photoshop and movie rendering streaming with lots of firefox chrome tabs open which processor you recomend? Would be running 12 gigs of ram and a gt660 gpu and NO O/C since I live in the caribbean and no A/C but wayercooling can be obtained with a well vented case.

im looking @ the i5 3330 or 3470. The E3-1230V3 ? Have not heard of it. And not looking into the K series since they are mostly unlocked for overclocking and I find it a waste since im not looking to O/C. I just searched the local comp. parts store here and all I see for the Xeon's are the E5 CPU's and they are way over my budget by roughly 1,000 USD o_O o_O

Why are you still looking at the ivy-bridge processors?
If you have to buy a new rig, get the newest one, this time it is the Haswell.
Are you upgrading and already own an 1155 mobo?
If you have to buy the mobo anyhow, I would recommend to start looking at i5 4570 instead.
If you do have already an 1155 mobo, then you can look at i5 3470 or i5 3330.

About E3-1230V3:
The Xeon E3-1230V3 (1150) and E3-1230V2 (1155) are excellent processors for it's price.
Yes, even for gaming and stuffs.
They are basically an i7, no iGPU and no OC. The price is the key, they cost about the same as the top-lined i5. (i5 3570k (1155) and i5 4670k (1150))
If the mobo supports it, I see that they really worth considering.

Edit:
You would not want an E5, price-wise.

im going with the 1155's cause that's whats available here :( other whise i would have to ship it in and would take roughly 1-2 weeks depending on which online retailer i choose and due to my work and college i am dependent on my computer a lot so this time line would not work for me of waiting so long with a downed MoBo. I have an am3+ FX4400 atm but looking to upgrade and budget is no more then around 300 USD

About the E-3's the only difference between these and the i7's would be the internal GPU? nothing more? If that is so then this would be a good choice considering i already have a dedicated GPU as stated above. Would there be any other differences? sorry for the trouble writing from my phone since my tower is down atm and looking to purchase today.

There are still more differences but for gaming, you will not notice further differences between E3-1230V2/V3 to an i7 3/4770k.
The main differences are only the iGPU and no-OC.
The slightly slower freq is not noticeable unless you are using benchmark.

The only thing, you must be aware of, not all mobo support Xeon.
Check the supported procs first before buying.
Sometime, a simple BIOS update will do the trick.

There are only a few differences between the Xeon E3-1230v3 and the i7-4770k. First, you already know that it can't be overclocked, which doesn't matter to you. Also, you already know it doesn't include the integrated graphics. Other than that, it's 200 MHz slower, which won't really be noticeable. Since it doesn't include graphics, it only uses 80W, instead of 84W. Plus, the Xeon supports Trusted Computing, which the i7 does not. Other than those minor things, they're exactly the same. It's definitely a much, much better deal if you're not planning to overclock. It gets you hyperthreading for the price of an i5.

And honestly, if you're going to buy a high end proc like the 4770k, who is going to use integrated graphics? The only legitimate argument I've seen for a non-overclocker going with the i7 is that I have heard some video game streaming software can make use of the IGP to free up the CPU a little.

Ok i'll look into it. Right now what i can see for the options for 1150's is the i5 4430 @ $224, the 4670 @230. the xeons i see Intel BX80623E31220 Xeon E3-1220 Processor - 4 Core, 3.10GHz, LGA 1155, 8MB Cache, 64-Bit, 80W, HyperThreading @218, and AMD options are AMD FD6300WMHkBOX FX-6300 Six-Core 3.5GHz AM3+ Processor - AM3+, Six-Core, 3.5GHz, 14MB, 95W, Unlocked @135 , AMD FX-Series FX-4350 Processor - 4.2/4.3 GHz, 4MB L2 Cache, 8MB L3 Cache, Socket AM3+, 125W, 32nm SOI - FD4350FRHKBOX @146 , AMD FD8320FRHKBOX FX-8320 Eight-Core 3.5GHz AM3+ Processor - AM3+, Eight-Core, 3.5GHz, 16MB, 125W, Unlocked @ 192. So these are my options available from local part distributor here in Puerto Rico. Usually i have been a big AMD guy but i keep hearing mix reviews of their CPU's and I keep hearing about the Intels.

Do not get mistaken between E3-1230 and the E3-1220. Those 2 arre different.
E3-1220 as mentioned above, does not have hyperthreading, which is the main feature of i7 and E3-1230.

About to go AMD or Intel, I will try to keep it simple.
In my opinion, until the price range of fx-8350, AMD wins. If you are willing to pay more than an fx8350, Intel wins.
The problem to choose is a bit difficult up to the fx8350 price range, since Intel and AMD is more or less the same but AMD has the better price over performance value.
Above fx8350 price range, AMD is simply plain dead at the moment.

Well I went eith the i5 4370 with a corsair h55 and msi mother board. So far the rig is stable running solid and maintains a 35-36 C degrees and on max load goes up to 39-40 not sure if that is ok or not with these procesors or the H-55 not working properly? First time I have worked with water cooling

Main reason i bought the H55 was so i could upgrade later to a K processor when the budget allows it. Also i live in the caribbean and weather gets insanely hot triple digits with no A/C so keeps the temp down in that sense also
