If your planning to Overclock and you would like a good stable OC then you might need to expand your budget. The "Piledriver" architecture specifically the FX 6300s, FX 8300s. FX 9000s are best used with the 990FX chipset. You can Overclock with the 970 chipset and you might get a decent frequency but just to be sure I would get something like the GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990FX. This is a very goof MB, though it is a bit more than most AMD AM3+ Motherboards. Also This one is good from what I have read: ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970+ and ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 + . They are slightly different believe or not.
