I recently got a new GTX 770 reference card for my computer. And when I got it and put it in, I realized a serious bottleneck with my CPU. I was expecting this though, so meanwhile was looking for a new CPU. I wanted a i7 3770k, but I thought that was a little overkill for what I do. I am looking towards the i5 3570k. Do you guys think this cpu will give me a bottleneck? Is there any other cpu that is in the $200-$300 price range that will be better for me in the new "next-gen" games?

Also I might stream high end games like ArmA III, DayZ, DayZ Mod, Battlefield etc. Will a i5 3570k give me the performance for streaming at 720p 30fps with little performance hit on my game?

Well if you going to spend that much on the i5 1155 then how about this-

Its cheaper than the i5 and pratically for an i7 w/o a IGP.

And for an Mobo idea-

Just another way to go......It can hold you out...

I am assuming you already have a 1155 motherboard and therefore an i5 3570k will run all games maxxed out as long as you have the GPU to do it. The GTX 770 is a great graphics card. The i5 wouldn't even bottleneck two cards.
If you are not on the 1155 platform then the 1150 Haswell platform is bleeding edge even though its not as proficient at overclocking as last generations.
Look at the i5 4670k, ivy bridge also has a poor selection of motherboards.

i5-3570k will not bottleneck the gtx 770, but if you're serious about streaming and do it a lot you may want to get the i7-3770k.

Thanks to all of those who answered! I think i will go with an i5 3570K. If you guys can, would you recommend any specific motherboards? Two video card slots aren't necessary, because I don't meet the requirements for SLI. But to have it would be nice in case if I upgrade my PSU. I'm relatively new to the CPU business so I will also be researching motherboards and checking them out as well. Thanks!

Can I use the fan that comes with it? I don't have a water cooler and it's not really in my budget so I don't really want to pay for one. I know it's not really recommended, but it has to work if it comes with it, right? lol
