Second Monitor won't work!

I can't get the second monitor to work! When I turn the monitor on, all I get is 'No signal'. I've made sure all the wiring is correctly placed and not loose. Still nothing! Would greatly appreciate some help.

So my problem is still ongoing.

Afraid I can't; I turn the monitor on and get 'No signal' then the monitor automatically goes into standby. Nothing I press on the monitor gives me an option or menu. While on the subject, the monitor only has a VGA port. (I missed this out, sorry)

You have both monitors plugged into the video card? If so you must be using a VGA-DVI adapter because the GPU has 2 dvi ports. If you have one monitor plugged into the GPU and the other in the VGA port on the motherboard, it won't work. You will need an adapter to plug both monitors into the GPU.
