PCI Express x16 3.0

Why are there no AMD motherboards with PCI Express x16 3.0. All the AMD motherboards I have been looking through in newegg.com are 2.0 PCI Express is there a reason for this?

I just thought that if I bought one and hooked it up with a GTX 660 SC I would be BOTTLE-Necking the graphics card!

AMD chipset hasn't gotten there yet... no real reason for 3.0 yet.
you will not have to worry... PCI-E 2.0 8x is just barely bottlenecked by a GTX 780. PCI-E 2.0 16x isn't bottlenecking anything currently in existence.

so your 660 is plenty, even if you ahve two of them running 8x/8x, no bottlenecks
