I was wondering that if i have say an ssd and a hdd and my os is on my ssd and i do a clean re install of windows 8 onto it will i have to format my hdd and lose everything on it?
Alright thanks i wasn't sure if that's how it would work or if it would make me have to re format it anyways due to the fresh install of windows.

If you're installing your OS on the SSD then the HDD is not changed. If you want to be super safe and not accidentally format your HDD you can unplug it before installation.
