Hello Guys, I feel little worried about my power supply, I want to buy a new GPU, currently I have an ASUS GTX 650Ti and I would like upgrade with new ASUS GTX760. My PC specs:

  • Mother ASUS M5A97
  • AMD FX8320 3.5GHz
  • Cooling sistem Corsair H60 Hydro Series
  • 2X Kingston Hyper Blu 4GB 1600 MHz
  • 1 HD 500 GB 7200 RP SATA 6GB/S 3.5" (ST500DM002)
  • 1 DVD Writer
  • 3 CPU Fan with Led (120 mm)

I would have enough power for new GPU (GTX760)?

While it might have enough power, it doesn't have enough PCIe power cables. This can be fixed with a molex>PCIe adapter, but I wouldn't recommend it as PSUs aren't meant to run things they don't have the connections for. If you get a new PSU, I (and most of the forum) would recommend this: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1550sxxb...

Well it appears I was mistaken! I assumed that the GPU would need at least two 6-pin power cables (my MSI GTX 760 requires one 8 and one 6-pin).

Strangely enough, it only has one 8-pin connection (exactly what your PSU has). Ignore my previous message, it should work with no problems whatsoever.

That psu is very low quality. I would suggest replacing it. Using it at a higher load would be risky and could possible damage other components.

    Any advice for new PSU?

    I think in 3 options:

    CoolerMaster ExtremePower 2 725w
    CoolerMaster i600W
    Corsair TX650w

You can't expect to get an improvement if you're not going to spend money.

If you absolutely just have to get one of those three, get the Corsair TX650w, the other ones are just bad.

    What about RM550 550w Corsair ... I read that have 80+ Gold

    Information link (80+ gold)

    Compatibility with GTX 760

The CX, RM, and CS series all use cheaper capacitors. While these units aren't horrible there are not something I would recommend unless there was no other choice.
