I have around 700 to spend on a new card. id honestly like to get the most bang for my buck. what exactly do you guys think i should invest in?

i will not be overclocking as i dont know how to, if that makes a difference to your decisions. thanks guys

Solution
Even with a GTX770 you will have to OC that CPU past 3GHz to get all out of the card! So I suggest GTX770 which is great for 1080P gaming. Rest of the money can be put aside for CPU/Mobo Upgrade next generation or so.

Is the 700 pound just for the GPU if so I would recommend a gtx 780 ti or maybe even the absolute beast that is the gtx titan would make sure your other component's are up to the job first e.g. Ram/CPU/PSU
