More info on the situation. My i7 930 idles at 60C when I look at it through Speccy. When I put the cpu under full load it jumps up to the 90's before shutting down. I'm doing video renders which are mainly gpu intensive but the temperature on my 560 looks fine in the 40's. I'm using an artic freezer pro 2 cooler/heatsink and not the stock fan. I have a Corsair HX750 PSU which should be able to hand my 560.

I have done this render a couple weeks ago and everything was fine, or perhaps just fine enough. I added a faster drive into the system which might free up my system to really stress the CPU. Either way I can't figure out why the CPU is so hot even at idle but especially on a render which is mainly GPU. As I type this the CPU is at 62C

Clean enough I'd say. I gave it a good blast of air best trying again. To get through my render I opened up the case and pointed a room fan at it. Got through it with peaking at 90C which it was about for about 40 minutes.
