Can any PSU fit in a Micro-ATX case?

I am thinking of buying the Fractal Design Core 1000 Series Micro ATX Case with the Corsair 500W CXM.

From the site above. I do prefer modular PSUs in mini towers as cables can be quite a mess, just my opinion though.

As cball noted, the 1000 can fit a standard ATX-sized power supply, which the CX is. I wouldn't recommend the CX if you haven't bought it yet, but if you have, it should be okay.

Pretty much any mATX case will fit a regular ATX power supply. It'll be rare to find one that doesn't, but if it doesn't, it'll usually be stated clearly.

It can take any PSU, because it's a Top mounted PSU. If you need an optical drive it can take a 185mm PSU.
The Corsair CXM 500w is 160mm long so it'' fit in this case.
