It All Started with Network Adapter Issues

I built my own PC less than a year ago.

I recently moved and I wasn't having any issues until I moved my PC from my apartment to my new home. I plugged it into my TV to stream a movie after a long day of unloading and it said I couldn't get access to the internet. And so it begins...

At first, the issue was that the "Network Adapter wasn't working properly." I tried a number of things to solve this issue. First, I tried DISABLING and ENABLING the device through DEVICE MANAGER. Next, I tried UNINSTALLING and REINSTALLING the device with the Mobo Disk. I may have done something else, but can't recall because this issue began 2 months ago.

Next, I said, "Oh well... network cards ain't expensive." I bought one, installed it and now THAT one has the same issue. I tried disabling one thinking they might be conflicting each other, but to no avail. After that, I went to my local Best Buy and thought, "Maybe an ETHERNET TO USB ADAPTER might at least give me access to the internet to update these damn drivers." Nothing. It had the same exact issue.

Since they all have the same issue, I'm assuming it all leads back to the Network Adapter that's part of the Mobo. At least point, I figure "what the hell," and buy a new Mobo. I installed it, but STILL NO INTERNET. This is getting ridiculous. However, this time it's a code 31. According to the DEVICE MANAGER, "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device."

Someone please, for the love of God, help me before I take a sledge hammer to my newly built PC...

If you tried so many devices and even new mobo and neither of it worked, maybe problem isn't on side of PC but just your connection in new apartment does not work. Did you check if it's working? Or maybe just simple thing like faulty cable?

Thank you for your response. I actually did try doing that. I will try unplugging the extra adapter as soon as I get home. I will update the thread on what happens.

UPDATE: I actually used the CD that came with my new ASUS mobo to "Repair" the driver. I took the other network adapter out before doing so. Nothing happened. Same issue.

I thought that too. But I took it to a friend and even at his place my pc couldn't get internet. So I got no internet at my old apartment, no internet at my new home and no internet at my friend's. He tried updating drivers and even chipsets, but he was the one who suggested calling Gigabyte (old Mobo) to see if I was still under warranty because I need a new Mobo altogether. In the end, the mobo was out of warranty since I bought it from a third party (eBay) so I recently bought an ASUS mobo.
