Core clock and memory clock in overclocking?

What is the difference between them? And can you revert overclocks?

you overclocked the gpu core to get more raw performance. OCing the memory will increase the bandwidth. if the gpu were chocked on bandwidth overclocking the memory will increase the performance since OCing the memory will give more bandwidth. but if the gpu is not starved for bandwidth OCing the memory might not affect performance much. that's the basic. and of course you can revert back to stock clock if you wish so after OC being done
