That is a Direct X 7 video card from about 15 years ago, and it is unlikely you will be able to run anything recent with it without enormous head aches.

You know when you buy a pc for $30 it seems so cheap it is too good to be true? It is.
Also, some people 'gift' a pc they have had for SOOO LOOONG it has become obsolete and completely useless, then expect you to be grateful for the hair falling out sleepless nights experience it causes. They do not write on it in black marker pen 'This is an ancient bag of crXp that will only surf the net',they think they are helping you learn.Well, they are actually, but it is a long and painful lesson best avoided with a couple of weeks wages.

Alright, lets sort this out. Your Mom needs to go back to the second hand place and tell the guy she wants her money back. PERIOD.
Selling a pc that is so old and decrepit it uses circa yr 2001 AGP technology
(and cheap even then)graphics whilst running a windows 7 licence is a clear mislead of machinery age. There is no way that is acceptable to the general public. It is blatently taking the Rise and a refund is due.
A bigger con could not be imagined.
Cheeses. That graphics card is the same age as you are.

I AM TRYING TO HELP.
AGP graphics cards way more powerful than yours went out of production around 2007.
If your pc has an agp graphics slot only, the platform bandwidth and capability of cpu will be limited to games around then,at minimum resolution.
Also, the pc would only be powerful enough to do nothing but surf or run video using windows 7. Sorry about he bad news.

Apparently, you don't like when the answers to your question are answers you do not like. Next time, you can save yourself some bother by typing your question in a txt file and underneath, typing the answer you would like to hear. Cut out the middle man and an instant response!

Truth is, that PC is so old that you're not going to be able to do much in the way of upgrading. AGP cards were being phased out a *decade* ago, your particular card was an entry-level card that came out in early 2002. There are upgrades, but essentially to get you from 12-year-old technology to 9 year-old technology.

The other posters weren't joking - it's not a PC I'd pay $30 for, so if there was an opportunity for a refund, I'd take it, and save for something that is closer to the modern age.

Sorry if I overstepped clicking best answer. Hands up,it was me.
There are two pc boxes from 2004 in my garden(yard).I told my neighbor I didnt want them but he thought leaving them was easier than the dump.
I have newer stuff waiting to go to the tip.I will drink his beers when I go round next and rib him for leaving his junk.
AGP my left nipple.
