my building a pc and I was wondering if my gpu will fit in my case without removing the hard drive cages. I have a gigabyte 780 ti wind force and my case is a carbide series 500R white by corsair. If it doesn't fit please give me some good cases to have a look at.

Gigabyte is a PITA as they don't give newegg their dimensions and it usually varies whether you have the reference card or the Windforce. Now you don't say whether you bought the card and case but if you did, I ahve to assume you wouldn't be asking this question. So ... first I'd suggest, get the MSI N Gaming Series 780 Ti as 1) it's by far the better card 2) it's $130 cheaper at $600

The MSI card is 10.5" long

Maximum VIdeo Card Length (With Drive Cages) 12.44" / (Without Drive Cages) 17.80"
