So, my motherboard, the ASUS Rampage iv black, says it is rated for quad channel memory. The memory (RAM) i want to put in it is Corsair dominator Platinum CMD64GX3M8A2400C10, for the lower latency times, but says to only be tested for dual channel.. what is the disadvantage (if any) of using dual channel memory in a quad channel motherboard? thank you for your time
